Hi! My name is Yvonne and I live in Rome with my two daughters and two longhaired Birman cats. When I was a child I enjoyed drawing a lot, mostly landscapes and animals.

When I was a teenager I also had a passion for Roman languages and literature so at that moment it felt right to choose a study in Spanish and Italian language and culture at university. I then moved to Rome and started a career in translation, but as my daughters grew up I rediscovered drawing and painting and attended as many drawing courses as possible, in Rome and also online. I was awarded a Diploma with distinction in Children’s Book Illustrations.

I work with acrylic, watercolour and oil paint.
